You're looking for property in Turkey. If you want to buy a Turkish golf property or a beach/coastal property or town villa - there's plenty of property for sale in Turkey. But here's some guidance on what's available right now.

What you can get property-wise

Currently there's golf property in Belek, Antalya province and off plan properties near Cesme. Izmir Airport serves Cesme and lies just an hours' drive away. But there's plenty of Bodrum Peninsula properties if you're after sun, sea, nightlife plus golfing options.

Turkish property visit

So you know where some of the property hotspots are. But what do you need for a property visit?

Visitor visa

• "All British visitors to Turkey have to pay £10 per person for a visa on entering Turkey. You need one £10 note per person in your group. And that includes children.
  £20 or £50 pound notes and Scottish pounds are not accepted.
  The visa gives multiple entry and lasts for three months.

British Passport

• You need a full 10 year British Passport for Turkey with at least 6 months left on your passport as at your UK return date.

Both passport and visa regulations can change, so check with the UK's Foreign and Commonwealth Office's Travel advice for Turkey well in advance of travel. The bottom line is you're responsible for carrying a valid passport and visa.

Tip for Izmir flights

Charter flights go to Izmir, Adnan Menderes each Thursday from May to October from UK airports, Manchester, Gatwick, Stansted, East Midlands and Newcastle. It's worth knowing that you might have to quote airport code ADB for Izmir Airport as it doesn't always register at booking systems.
