Ektron - employing over a 100 people - has excellent content management and document management solutions at very competitive prices. We believe they offer vastly superior CMS solutions than proprietary systems whilst being more competitive than other Enterprise products we could mention.

Our hosting requirements are really very simple – we need a world-class partner that provides an utterly reliable service with fully managed support that enables us to keep our clients sites up and running 24/7/365.

NVisage now partners with Rackspace for our hosting and have nothing but praise for the excellent support they provide to us in an increasingly hostile internet. They are definitely not the cheapest – yet we feel that our solution provides the best compromise between performance and cost. They have an excellent, verifiable reputation in the industry and have won Microsoft’s Hosting Solutions Service Provider of the Year for the last two years as well as having truly blue chip clients including Nikon, Renault and The Register.

Our web servers themselves are state of the art multi-processor multi cored machines with RAID 5 hard disk redundancy. They are protected by a dedicated firewall, full monitoring and daily backups.

Carbon neutral hosting!

In addition – all our servers are carbon natural! Rackspace participate a scheme in conjunction with the International Tree Foundation, where they plant a tree for every new server they sell, helping their products to become Carbon Neutral by absorbing the CO² created by each server during its operational life. Trees will be planted in the 14 acre site at East Williamston in Pembrokeshire from December through to March when the land is dormant, to make sure it gets off to the best start possible. In addition to the CO² benefits, by creating areas of natural habitat it is hoped to encourage diversification of species (flora and fauna) and enhance wildlife in the area. The site will also offer the local community with an outdoor open space, promoting a healthier life style by providing a safe amenity within the area in which the community and persons visiting can use for play and recreation.
