Our ideas

Some might think that making the look and feel of a website attractive to the eye is the key to a professional and inviting website.

User Experience (UX) is becoming one of the most important key factors in today’s websites. Essentially UX is creating a successful user-centered design. UX follows a thoroughly thought through process, intended for the user.
We create prototypes by using wireframes, the software that we use at Nvisage is Axure.

What is a wireframe?

A wireframe displays the functional elements of a website or page, typically used for planning a site’s structure and functionality. It also shows the user journey through the site. It is not just used for a planning a website, it is used in the programming industry to create a prototype of for example: new text editor software.

Features of a wireframe?

Wireframing has progressed significantly; it has become interactive at a high level rather than just a skeleton of a website/software. It is now possible to actually build an entire website using wireframes. Just a handful of features are listed below:

It is a complex software, a few members of our team at Nvisage have attended wireframing courses in the past. We specialise in UX by testing our wireframes using a software called Chalkmark, this is how we get feedback. Chalkmark monitors the clicks on a screenshot. We generally ask approx 30 people who have never seen the prototype before to do our test (3-4mins), this then gives us a substantial amount of feedback where we can then tweak the prototype if necessary.

If you require prototype testing and would like a chat then please call our Commercial Director Clinton Porter on 0845 094 3331 or email.
